New Hampshire Rose Society Annual Summer Rose Show

The New Hampshire Rose Society will hold its 21st
Annual Summer Rose Show on Saturday, June 24, 2006, at the Bedford Mall in
Bedford, NH. Exhibitors from New Hampshire as well as other parts of New England
will be bringing their best blooms to be judged. Set up time will be from
7:00-9:30 AM. First time exhibitors are welcome and help on grooming and staging
of blooms will be available. It is not necessary to be a member of NHRS to
exhibit.
The show will be open to the public from 1:00-4:00 PM.
There is no admission charge. Visitors will see tables full of blooms tagged
with names and award. On the head table the top winners including Queen, King,
and Princess of Show will be displayed. In addition to viewing the roses,
visitors can consult with our expert “rose doctors” about general rose culture
and roses-growing problems. Rose literature and catalogs will be available at no
cost. Miniature roses will be sold and a raffle with rose-related items will be
held.
At 3:00 there will be an awards ceremony. At 3:30 roses
will be sold for $1 per stem.
Directions to Bedford Mall: From Route 101 take exit to
Route 3. Go past Macy’s. At next set of lights take a right into the Mall.
